In their own words
Pattaraporn Thongsuk
Bangkok · Initial Consultation
"I had three years of letters from the Social Security Office that I had not opened because I was afraid of what they might say. Siriporn went through all of them with me and it turned out two were routine notices. There was one item that needed attention, and she explained it calmly without making me feel I had done anything wrong by not acting sooner. The written summary she sent was exactly what I needed to share with my daughter."

Michael Kershaw
British expat, Bangkok · Beneficiary Update
"After my wife passed away I knew I needed to update my beneficiary designations, but I had no idea where to start in Thailand. Krittaphat handled the whole process and kept me informed at each stage. The checklist of related accounts was genuinely useful — I had not thought to check my private insurance at the same time. About three weeks in total."

Wei-Lin Chen
Taiwanese, Bangkok · Litigation
"The GPF had rejected my father's application on grounds that seemed incorrect. Siriporn assessed the case honestly — she said it was a reasonable challenge but would likely take over a year. That turned out to be accurate, and the outcome was positive. What I valued most was the steady communication throughout. We never felt we had been left to wonder what was happening."

Somchai Chanapruk
Bangkok · Initial Consultation
"I was not sure whether I had a legal problem at all or whether I just did not understand my pension documents. The consultation made clear it was mostly the latter — the documents were legitimate, just poorly written by the fund. Knowing this was actually a relief. The optional next steps list confirmed there was nothing urgent, which gave me some peace of mind."

Napa Rongrungroj
Chiang Mai · Beneficiary Update
"After my divorce I came here to update my beneficiary designations before doing anything else. The process was straightforward and the team handled the notarisation, which I had been dreading. The related accounts checklist was an unexpected bonus — I had completely forgotten about my private pension scheme designation."

James Tran
Vietnamese-Australian · Consultation
"My Thai is limited and I was not confident my English would be adequate for a legal discussion. The consultation was conducted in English throughout without any need to simplify what I was saying. Small thing but it mattered: Wanida followed up by phone two weeks later exactly as she said she would."

Three client journeys in more detail
Client details have been generalised to protect privacy.
Challenge
A retired factory worker's SSO benefit calculation appeared to exclude four years of contributions from a former employer that had since closed. The SSO's records showed those years as incomplete, but the client had pay slips suggesting contributions had been made.
What We Did
After the records inventory consultation identified the pay slips as material, we filed a formal administrative review request with the SSO supported by payroll records obtained from the Revenue Department's archived employer filings. Court proceedings were not required.
Outcome
The SSO accepted the evidence and corrected the contribution record. The client's monthly benefit increased accordingly. Time from initial consultation to resolution: approximately five months.
"I had been receiving less than I was owed for almost three years without knowing."
Challenge
A former civil servant was denied a disability supplement by the GPF following early medical retirement. The fund cited a procedural deficiency in the original medical certification — one the client had never been notified of at the time of application.
What We Did
We filed a formal complaint with the Central Administrative Court, arguing that the failure to notify the applicant of the deficiency rendered the subsequent denial procedurally improper. A medical specialist provided a supplementary assessment supporting the original certification.
Outcome
The court found in the client's favour. The GPF was directed to reconsider the application on the merits. Duration: approximately sixteen months. The supplement was subsequently approved.
"The team was honest about how long it would take. That honesty made the wait bearable."
Challenge
Following the death of a spouse, an adult child sought to update beneficiary designations for a surviving parent with limited mobility. The private scheme had a specific proxy update procedure the family was unaware of.
What We Did
We completed a records inventory across all accounts, navigated the scheme's proxy authorisation procedure, and prepared the required notarised documentation. The related accounts checklist identified two additional designations the family had not considered.
Outcome
All four accounts updated within four weeks. Written confirmation received from each institution. The two additional accounts identified via the checklist were updated within the same engagement scope.
"We came thinking we had one task and left having completed four."
