Three services.
One clear entry point.
Whether you have arrived with a folder of unsorted letters, a life change that affects your beneficiaries, or a formal dispute with a pension authority, we have a service designed for your starting point — not a generalised offering that requires you to fit around it.
Back to HomeHow we approach every engagement
Every service at Garuda Legal begins with listening. Before any legal analysis, we give each client time to describe their situation in their own way. What arrives in a first consultation is rarely well-organised — and that is to be expected. Our role at the outset is to receive, sort, and clarify, not to expect that clients have already done that work.
From there, each service follows a structured process with defined steps, clear communication points, and written output after every significant stage. Clients always know where they are in the process and what comes next.
Senior counsel is present and responsible throughout. Work is not passed to junior staff without supervision. All client-facing documents — summaries, letters, filings — go through a senior review before leaving the office.
Receive and listen
Client describes their situation without interruption. Documents are received as they are — no prior sorting required.
Sort and analyse
Documents are categorised. Legal implications are assessed by a senior lawyer and explained in plain language.
Summarise and propose
A written summary is produced. Next steps are presented as options — none of which carry any obligation.
Act when the client is ready
If the client proceeds, each agreed action is confirmed in writing before being taken. Communication is steady throughout.
Initial Pension Consultation & Records Inventory
A welcoming first visit during which we sit together and inventory everything you have received from pension authorities and former employers. Many clients arrive carrying a folder of papers they have not opened in some time — there is no expectation that anything will have been organised beforehand. Our counsel goes through the documents with you, sorts them into clear categories, and prepares a brief written summary noting any items that may warrant follow-up. The session takes around two hours and ends with a clear, optional list of next steps.
- No advance preparation required
- Document sorting and categorisation during session
- Plain-language written summary provided within two working days
- Optional follow-up steps — no commitment required
- Follow-up telephone call within two weeks included
