Why Clients Choose Us

A practice built around the client's pace

Focused pension expertise

We work within a narrow area of Thai administrative and labour law. This means our knowledge of pension rules, social security provisions, and court procedures is current and detailed — not a general practice effort.

No pressure at any stage

Each engagement ends with optional next steps. Clients are never pushed toward a commitment. We believe the right decision is made when a person has had time to think, not when they feel hurried.

Thai, English, and Mandarin

Our counsel team communicates comfortably in all three languages. Clients need not worry about bringing a translator or simplifying what they want to say.

Plain written summaries

After every consultation and significant hearing, we prepare a brief written summary in plain language — not legal jargon. Clients can share these with family members or review them at their own pace.

Senior counsel on every case

Pension matters are not delegated to junior staff. A qualified, experienced lawyer handles the substance of your case from first meeting through any final resolution.

Full confidentiality

All records shared with us and all discussions remain strictly confidential. Clients may also bring a trusted family member to any appointment without prior arrangement.

Not sure whether you need legal advice?

Our initial consultation is designed exactly for that uncertainty. You bring whatever you have, and we work through it together. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to decide beforehand.

Common Questions

Questions we are often asked

Do I need to bring organised documents to the first consultation? +
Not at all. Many clients arrive with an envelope of unopened letters or a folder they have not reviewed in years. The first consultation is specifically designed for that situation. We sort through everything together and will not expect anything to be pre-organised.
How long does the beneficiary update process take? +
Most beneficiary designation updates are completed within two to four weeks, depending on the number of accounts involved and whether any documents require notarisation. We keep clients informed at each step and provide a written checklist of what remains outstanding.
What is the typical timeline for an administrative court case? +
Administrative court proceedings in Thailand vary significantly by case. A straightforward challenge may conclude within twelve to eighteen months; more complex matters with appeals can take longer. We discuss realistic timelines at the outset and update clients after each significant development.
Can a family member accompany me to appointments? +
Yes, and this is quite common. Many clients bring an adult child, a spouse, or a trusted friend. There is no need to arrange this in advance — simply mention it when you arrive. We are accustomed to consultations that involve more than one person.
Are the prices listed all-inclusive, or are there additional costs? +
The initial consultation fee and the beneficiary update fee cover the services as described. For litigation matters, the listed fee covers our legal work; court filing fees, notarisation costs, and expert witness fees are charged at cost and itemised transparently before any expense is incurred.
Do you handle matters involving government pension funds as well as private schemes? +
We work with both. Our practice covers matters involving the Social Security Office, the Government Pension Fund, and private occupational pension schemes. The first consultation will allow us to identify which funds are relevant to your situation and what records may need to be obtained.
